Urban Companies Incorporated (“UCI”) is a locally recognized general contractor, construction manager, design/builder and property developer. UCI is based in Pittsburgh’s Eastern Suburbs. We proudly serve the Greater Pittsburgh areas of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington, and Westmoreland County.

UCI is a privately-owned corporation servicing the needs of clients on a regional basis through our building, restoration and construction management operating divisions. We are a leader in the Pittsburgh region in building modern and advanced projects. Since 2010, the business has continually experienced growth, thanks to repeat business and a solid reputation in the commercial construction industry. UCI expanded its industry and moved into a brand new two-story facility located at 901 7 th Street, since 2011. Our professional staff includes office management, a sales/estimating department including a production manager along with our own, in house, experienced field employees. Our extensive experience level and expertise has given us the required knowledge to run our projects with extreme efficiency.  This gives us a competitive edge to fulfill the customer’s needs by maintaining competitive pricing and offering top quality work.

Services
UCI is a full service general contractor that performs commercial, industrial and residential construction, complete design/build services, construction management, and property development including storm water management, excavation services and commercial property maintenance. We currently have nearly 50 years of experience in the industry and have successfully completed over $60 million worth of construction contracts.

This has been achieved through meeting the required critical deadlines for job completion, while maintaining top quality work which has resulted in complete customer satisfaction. UCI has never been involved in a lawsuit. This ongoing and current standing has given us the ability to derive the bulk of our work load almost entirely from repeat customers or referrals without the need of any formal advertising.

Our completed projects start with ground work, such as, demolition, excavation, or foundation work and extend to commercial and residential construction projects including management and implementing all the specific building trades. We also include performing construction maintenance on select commercial properties. The majority of our projects are commercial which include national chain contracts, shopping center work, retail and commercial build outs, office spaces and selected residential projects.
